The UN Global Compact calls on companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environmental sustainability, and anti-corruption. Moreover, it encourages concrete action to support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which provide a shared blueprint for peace, prosperity, and a sustainable future for people and the planet.
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact has grown to become the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, engaging over 20,000 companies across more than 160 countries, supported by 60+ Global Compact Networks.
