SEAI’s One Stop Shop Service is an all-encompassing solution designed to take you from the initial home energy assessment to the final Building Energy Rating (BER) certification.
Services Highlights:
- Home Energy Assessment: Technical surveyors will assess your home and provide expert advice on the best upgrades to achieve a B2 energy rating or higher.
- Grant Application: Applications are available online through the SEAI website

- Follow-up BER: Post-upgrade, a registered BER Assessor will conduct a thorough assessment, publishing the certificate to validate the enhanced energy performance of your home.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Property built and occupied before 2011 for insulation, heating controls, and renewable systems grants.
- Existing BER of B3 or lower, aiming for a minimum rating of B2 post-upgrade.
- No previous grants for the same home energy upgrades.
- Approved Housing Bodies are eligible with varying grant amounts.
