Program Stages

Stage 1: Learn

Get acquainted with the network, explore joining your local Sustainable Energy Community, or initiate the creation of a new one. Understand the fundamentals to kickstart your community’s sustainable energy journey.

Stage 2: Plan

Apply for 100% SEAI funding to undertake your Energy Master Plan, guided by a technical expert. Launch the plan within your community, setting the foundation for impactful energy projects.

Stage 3: Do

Activate your Energy Master Plan, explore additional projects, and learn about accessing further funding to realise your community’s sustainable energy vision.

In order to support the change process within the company, the grant can also be used to cover part of the salary cost for up to 10 company green project team members over the project duration. The goal of the project team members is to develop and implement environmental best practice within the company by learning by themselves and subsequently training others in environmental improvement tools and techniques. The project team members will be responsible for driving continuous environmental improvement and efficiency.
