This grant scheme supports eligible companies to undertake a large-scale, extensive and holistic training programme that focuses on developing the capability and capacity of employees to improve the on-going flow of value to customers, implement team-based problem solving and continuous improvement and innovation activities, identify and remove wasteful activities in the business and supply chain, and align operations to company strategy.
The objective of the programme is to support an organisational innovation programme that leads to a company-wide transformation in culture and productivity performance including digitalisation.
To be eligible for the grant, the applicant must:
- Be a business or public entity registered in Ireland
- Have a valid tax clearance certificate
- Agree to provide feedback and data to Enterprise Ireland
- Not have received any other public funding for the same project
The grant value is up to €300,000 for up to 50% of the eligible costs of hiring a lean consultant/trainer. The eligible costs are capped at €900 per day inclusive of travel and subsistence and all out-of-pocket expenses. The grant cannot be used for general consultancy or regular operating costs.
